Deccan will be disappointed. They had the upper hand when Gibbs and Symonds were going strong. And before that, when Gibbs and Mishra were batting together. But that pair got out, holing out in the deep when Deccan appeared to be in control, and Kolkata's bowlers then aimed correctly to keep Symonds in check and seal, what was in the end, a relatively easy win. Kolkata have moved to fifth place, and Deccan have slipped to seventh. Check out the points table here. We'll get you the presentation in a bit.

We're ready for the presentation. Some sponsor awards will be given out before the captains speak, so hold on.

Gilchrist: "We tactically took a gamble with Ojha bowling one over when Ganguly was still out there. We weren't up for it in all the areas. We were inconsistent again today. We are on the negative side of the ledger, but all is not lost. "

Ganguly, unsurprisingly, is the Man of the Match

Ganguly: "We started off well then dropped a bit. The tournament is still open, but it is good to get a win. It was a good wicket, and the ball came on well. I've been getting the thirties and fifties, but today it went well. We knew the wicket would grip for the spinners; luckily we got Gibbs at the right time and the required run-rate crept up from there on."

That's all we have from here folks. Thanks for tuning in and sending us your feedback. Do join us tomorrow for Bangalore v Punjab in Mohali. Until then, on behalf of Binoy George on the scoring desk, this is Sid Talya signing off. Adios!

Gayle to Suman, no run, in the blockhole outside off, doesn't dig it out, a dot ball to finish things off, Kolkata get a fourth win under their belt

Gayle to Suman, SIX, finally, but too late, in the slot on middle and he clears long-on comfortably

Struggled against the slow nature of this track did Symonds, and the variations of the Kolkata bowlers

Gayle to Symonds, OUT, Symonds' struggle ends, full and quick outside off, makes room to crash that over long-off, miscues it to Kartik who runs to his right from point and takes a simple catch

34 needed off the last over. Just 27 have come off the last five overs. They had wickets in hand, but Kolkata have reined them in. Gayle to bowl the last over
