Ishant five-for wrecks Kochi

The Kochi Tuskers Kerala scorecard read 11 for 6 at the end of four overs as their batsmen were sucker-punched by Ishant Sharma, who harassed them with seam and bounce. And Kochi never recovered from that soul-crushing spell.

That's it from the team for this match. Join us tomorrow for the match between Delhi and Kolkata. Be well.

Man of the Match Ishant Sharma: It's not about inspiration, when we sitting in the dressing room we thought 130 is a good total. when RP's first ball hit the gloves, we thought we won't mind bowling first on this track. I need to say thanks to Zaheer Khan because he told me to keep working hard on my fitness. Working with him is really tremendous for me.

Sanga: Once we started batting, we though 130-140 is a competitive score. Both Steyn and Ishant were magnificent in the first six overs. Darren Lehman has a lot of common sense when it comes to cricket, nothing flash, just go out there and hit your lengths. We need to keep playing good cricket. Mishra was a genuis on that wicket

Mahela: I thought it was a good effort by the bowlers. We knew they had quality bowlers upfront and we had to get through that spell. Ishant bowled very well upfront. The pitch had a bit more movement than we expected.

Sharma didn't get to finish his overs but it doesn't matter. He still has t the third best return in IPL history.

Steyn: The coach told us to bowl our lengths and if they miss, we hit. I thought Ishant bowled fantastically well. I'd love to roll this wicket up and take it everywhere I go. We've just got to try and keep winning and go off the bottom and into the top four.

This win moves the Chargers up to sixth. Stay with us for the presentation.

Steyn to Singh, OUT, All over. Steyn finished with two wickets in two balls. Yorker length and RP was backing away and that came off his pad to dislodg the bail. Comprehensive win for the Chargers, who looked dead and buried mid way through their innings and came back with a bowling performanace that was simply phenomenal.

We've got a broken stump. Some of it remained in the ground and now needs to be pulled out.

Steyn to Vinay Kumar, OUT, Goner! That's a full, straighter one, held it's line and there was very little Vinay Kumar could have done about that. Offstump is castled and the end is near. Jayawardene looks increasingly glum in the pod
