6:13pm That will be all from us for this game. But don't go too far away because there is more PSL action lined up. Join us for that game too, and we hope to see you around very soon. Ciao!

Shadab Khan, the Islamabad United captain is also the Player of the Match: When you play as an all-rounder, when you do one thing well, you feel it is your day. But every time, you have to start from scratch. Today was good, following a process and hopefully it keeps going this way. We knew he (Sameer Minhas) was an exciting talent. We knew he needed a platform like this and some confidence. The maturity he is showing, hopefully there are many more to come from him. On this ground, where the ball flies, we had a good cushion after the powerplay. You have to pick and choose. They had Abrar and Usman as key bowlers. We saw them off and then we got set (and went after them).

Saud Shakeel, Quetta Gladiators captain: (On their score) The start that we had, we could have scored 10 more runs. The pitch was a little tough in the first innings and it got better in the second (innings). (Turning point) The partnership between Sameer and Shadab. They did not take a lot of risks but still continued with their momentum. We told that they (the batters in the middle) needed to take chances to get to 170-180.

5:51pm Comfortable and classy. Minhas was a class apart, as was captain Shadab, and once both of them got going, they made very light work of what could have been a tricky run-chase. Both, through their partnership, also picked and chose their moments to attack wonderfully, meaning that Tariq's threat was fully neutralized.

The Gladiators may have felt they were in the game at the break, but those notions were quickly put to rest by this mammoth partnership. Abrar bowled well but the others could not back him up. Tariq dropping Shadab proved to be a pivotal moment, with Curran's 22-run 12th over also tilting the momentum in IU's favour.

Shadow-Shell: "Look at that worm. Almost similar till 12 overs. Then it shot up for IU. The middle overs slowdown by Gladiators cost them the match" -- And that over where Curran was taken apart.
