Thank you for your company and comments. Hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. For now, on behalf of Harshith Gowda, this is Rvel Zahid signing off. Ciao!

Sameer Minhas, Player of the Match: Plan was simple, to play ball by ball and go for the boundaries on the deliveries where we could attack. I have worked a lot on my fielding and fitness because if your fitness is good then your batting as well as running between the wickets gets better. We give a lot of confidence to each other and we keep taking ones and twos which helps the cause

Moeen Ali, Karachi Kings Captain: We have been pretty poor since we have been here. Some good individual performances but generally our batting has been passive and we have not been taking the game on. We need to be a bit brave and we have a long batting line-up so we need to use it as best as we can. Probably me, Khushi, even Abbas can come up earlier... Warner is better than yesterday and hopefully will be available for the next game.

Shadab Khan, Islamabad United Captain: Didn't do much different today but we tried to execute our plans. In the last game we lost two wickets in one over which resulted in loss of momentum. A lot of things are going in our way. I think we still need to improve. We knew Sameer is an exceptional talent and he is proving his mettle at this platform, which is great. Whichever team peaks at the right time wins the tournament.

Islamabad United waltzed their way to a comprehensive win, coasting home with eight wickets in hand. It seemed like both teams were batting on different surfaces as Karachi Kings found it onerous to deal with spin and could only post a modest total whereas the likes of Devon Conway and Sameer Minhas were fluent throughout, putting the game to bed with enterprising half-centuries and dominating both spin and pace. Karachi Kings suffer their third defeat and the train is starting to derail with the dream of getting to top four becoming tougher and tougher. Their bowling attack lacked incision and nobody was able to make any real inroads or look threatening. With a slim target to defend, it was always going to be easier for the batters to see off the good deliveries and take calculated risks

Shadow-Shell: "Powerplay was when Kings were best today while batting. And yet got beat by 22 runs there an extra wicket. Shows how thoroughly outplayed they were"

Muhammad Naseem: "I always use Cricinfo for cricket commentary than watching on T. V. live.on Cricinfo I feel as I am watching it , the wording of commentary is so sweet, real and understanding everyone can easily understand." Thank you

Kaleem: "Few days ago, Salman butt also said "keep Sameer Minhas safe", but he added something else also. keep him safe from Pakistani coaches. He's right because lots of talented players came into light but when they come to the shadow of those coaches, they somehow lost their charm and game. Being a "Cousin" of recent Pak U19 player, i got to know somethings from him what coaches did with him and other players, Shamyl Hussain is one of them also."
