That's it from us for this game. Join us again for tomorrow's double header at the PSL. Take it easy!

Kingsmen captain Labuschagne: We've just got to park this game. We know how to win big but clearly know how to lose big as well. We tried to take the powerplay on and it didn't work for us. It wasn't our night. We were on the back foot and weren't able to recover to get a score like 120 or 130 on the board.

Gleeson is the Player of the Match for his opening spell of 3 for 9 in three overs. Gleeson: "It is nice conditions to bowl swing so I was trying to keep it going for as long as I can. Had good support from Mirza who has come back into the team. We've got bowlers coming out of our ears and a lot of talent, and you know if you're not performing someone else will step up."

A crushing win for Islamabad United, who storm now into the playoffs. With 11 points on their tournament ledger now, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, and Hyderabad Kingsmen cannot catch them. Their NRR goes up to 1.77. They have a chance to get into the top two to play the Qualifier, rather than the Eliminator.

Things are not so rosy for Kingsmen who now have a difficult path into the qualifiers. This is their first loss in five matches, and it is by far their heaviest defeat in their maiden season. Their batting really just never got away on a Karachi deck that was tired, but far from menacing. Richard Gleeson's early spell was devastating, but the likes of Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim kept striking through the middle overs. Kingsmen's NRR has also worsened to -1.037.

Mohammad Ali to Shadab Khan, FOUR, he finishes it in one hit, carving a back-of-a-length ball through backward point. This wasn't a bad ball, but Shadab had made room and managed to squeeze it away with considerable power, beating deep third easily. Islamabad United storm home in the seventh over.

Captain Shadab is the new batter.

Mohammad Ali to Mohsin Riaz, OUT, gone! Tried to finish it with a four, but didn't hit it sweetly enough. This was a length ball angled into leg stump. Mohsin made space and tried to bash it over the offside infield, but couldn't clear mid on, who takes a comfortable catch moving to his right. Good, aggressive innings from Mohsin though. Has done IU's NRR some good.

Mohammad Ali to Sameer Minhas, 1 leg bye, hard length into the pads and Sameer has missed with his glance and it's hit him in the front leg painfully. As the ball has dribbled away fine there's still a leg bye there though

Yasser Saleem: "Nice to see every team fighting to stay in the tournament except PZ. But frightening to imagine if 2016 PSL repeats itself where PZ dominated the whole tournament but first lost to QG by 2 runs and also lost to IU who went on to win the tournament. "

Hunain Shah to Mohsin Riaz, FOUR, another edge, another four. This was the outside edge this time, to a short ball wide of off. Mohsin threw hands. The ball caught the edge and galloped away past the keeper. Islamabad are one hit away from victory at the end of the PP

Hunain Shah to Mohsin Riaz, FOUR, slower one I think (123kph), and Mohsin was done in by the lack of pace as he shaped for a big pull. But he manages to get an under-edge to this anyway, and it squeals away past short fine leg and to the boundary.

Hunain Shah to Mohsin Riaz, 2 runs, length just wide of off. Mohsin stays at home and larrups it over the offside infield. Mid off gives chase and catches up to it about two metres inside the boundary

Hunain Shah to Mohsin Riaz, 1 wide, that's not going to help Kingsmen. Fired way down the legside

Hunain Shah to Mohsin Riaz, FOUR, full, just outside off, in the slot. This one deserved to travel and Mohsin was only too happy to oblige, getting deep in his crease and crashing it over mid off. One bounce and over the rope

Mohammad Ali to Mohsin Riaz, FOUR, murdered past a diving mid off. This was back of a length a little outside off and did not deserve to be belted so dismissively. But Mohsin stands tall and sends it screaming in the air past the straight fielder, and on to the boundary. They'll get to the target in a hurry if these two stay at the crease

Mohammad Ali to Mohsin Riaz, no run, length ball angled into the stumps. Batter tries to clip to leg but is hit on the front pad. Not much of an appeal, but Kingsmen are desperate and Marnus has reviewed this. Hit the batter above the knee roll and in front of leg stump. Would have been sliding down.

Mohammad Ali to Mohsin Riaz, 1 wide, backs away and the bowler follows him with a bouncer. But follows him too far, making it a challenge even for Usman Khan to make the diving stop down leg.

Mohammad Ali to Mohsin Riaz, 1 run, length ball on the stumps, dropped into the legside infield and they scamper one

Mohammad Ali to Mohsin Riaz, FOUR, that's a neat little over-the-shoulder-scoop shot. He was dancing around the crease early and Mohammad Ali went quite wide of off stump. But Mohsin was prepared for that. He leapt to the right and got his angled bat in the right position to clear short fine, and send it on to that boundary. Wasn't the the most flawless execution of that shot. But it was effective

50 up. Just 31 needed now.
