Commentator: Rashad Mahbub

That will be all from us today, folks. Thank you for tuning in and staying with us. We will be back with more cricket action tomorrow. Until then, go well!

Player of the Match: Babar Azam

10:24 pm It was certainly not the start the Gladiators were looking for with the bat, losing back to back wickets in the fourth over. With only 42 runs on the board and three wickets down in the powerplay, they found themselves in a real spot of bother. Things went from bad to worse in the very next over when Shamyl departed, leaving the side reeling at 44 for 4. A bit of momentum returned in the 9th over as they took 21 runs off Bracewell, but wickets continued to tumble as the batters threw their starts away at regular intervals. Jacobs top-scored with 34, but the rest of the lineup lacked the composure or intent needed to stay at the crease. With this heavy defeat for the Gladiators, the race for the playoffs becomes even more interesting and unpredictable. Basit and Raza were the pick of the bowlers with three wickets each, while Hardie chipped in with two scalps.

Ali Raza to Usman Tariq, OUT, Babar Azam and his men continue their winning streak and remain unbeaten, picking up another comfortable victory! Ali Raza gets his third scalp. Bowls a length ball and Tariq throws his bat at it, splices this one over point and Yousaf tracks back from backward point, covered plenty of ground and dived to hold on to the difficult chance. This young man is a gun fielder!
