Transfer Deadline Day LIVE: Latest updates as Fernández set for Man City move, Woltemade leaves Newcastle

The deadline is fast approaching on the last day of the summer transfer window and you can follow the updates on all the late deals with ESPN.

Teams have until 11 p.m. GMT to complete deals before the transfer window shuts.

As has been the case the entire summer, Premier League clubs will be in the thick of the action as they scramble to strengthen their squads or balance sheets.

One of the main protagonists of Deadline Day will be Enzo Fernández, who has been strongly pursued by Manchester City. The Argentina international has been left out of Chelsea's squad for their previous two matches and manager Xabi Alonso hasn't provided any hints on his future at the club.

City are also in talks for Everton frontman Iliman Ndiaye while Tottenham have agreed deals for Chelsea duo Mykhailo Mudryk and Tosin Adarabioyo.

Another Argentine whose future has dominated the transfer window is Julián Álvarez. Atlético Madrid remain adamant that they won't sell him to Barcelona and he has emerged as Arsenal's primary target to shore up their forward line.

Irrespective of the Álvarez pursuit, there will be activity at Arsenal on deadline day with Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli on the cusp of moves to Barcelona and Al Hilal respectively.
