India allrounder Deepti Sharma jumped up four spots to be second in the ICC women's T20I rankings for bowlers while Shafali Verma rose up a spot to be sixth in the T20I batters' rankings.
Deepti picked up 14 wickets in India's victorious Asia Cup campaign to finish as the leading wicket-taker. Shafali topped the run charts with 236 runs including three fifties at a strike rate of 171.01. Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana continues to be at the fifth spot with only four rating points separating the two India openers.
