The British & Irish Lions Women will play at home before embarking on their inaugural tour of New Zealand next year, facing France at the Principality Stadium in Wales.
The Women's Lions will play in the Welsh capital on Aug. 27 before a historic tour three Test tour against the Black Ferns.
Former England international and Australia women's coach Jo Yapp will lead the Lions in 2027, with a home match kicking off the tour similar to how the men's series began in Dublin against Argentina last year.
"There are moments in sport that only come around once -- and this is one of them," Yapp said.
"For our British & Irish Lions Women's team to step onto the field for the first time, on home soil and in front of our fans, is going to be incredibly special.
"France are the ideal team for an occasion like this. They bring a relentless defence and a real edge in attack. That's exactly the challenge that we need before heading to New Zealand. I'd love to see everyone get behind the squad and share this milestone with us. It will be a moment in history."
France should serve as good preparation for the squad, which is expected to be made up largely of Red Roses players.
Les Bleus were the last side other than England to win the Women's Six Nations in 2018 and have finished runners up the last six years, often going toe-to-toe with John Mitchell's side.
The Lions will play Tests in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, as well as tour games in Whangārei and Hamilton across September.
