Argentina have named Daniel Hourcade as their new coach for next month's autumn internationals in Europe.
The Pumas have turned to Hourcade after the resignation of Santiago Phelan, who quit after six years in charge on Monday. Hourcade's contract currently only covers the autumn internationals but the Argentine Rugby Union (UAR) hope to keep him in the role until the 2015 Rugby World Cup if he is successful in November.
Hourcade has just led his county's second-string Jaguars to a fourth successive Americas Rugby championship title in Canada, and will kick off his tenure with the senior side against England at Twickenham on November 9, before facing Wales and Italy on the following two Saturdays.
