Day 4 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup is in the books, with Germany and Sweden recording statement wins.

The first game saw four-time winners Germany run riot in a 7-1 win over Curaçao in Houston. Then, Netherlands and Japan held each other in a highly entertaining 2-2 draw.

Ivory Coast then defeated Ecuador 1-0 in Philadelphia in the day's third match, before Sweden fired five goals past a hapless Tunisia in Mexico.
