WR Zach Bradshaw has Michigan ranked highly

Even though he comes from a family of Michigan State fans -- his father is an alum and his grandfather lives in East Lansing -- 2013 wide receiver Zach Bradshaw (Damascus, Md./Damascus) isn’t shy to say that Michigan is a top school for him after a visit to campus on Saturday.

"It's kind of strange going and checking out [MSU’s] arch rival," Bradshaw said. "But I liked everything I saw. The coaches were great. The facilities were great. They had a good academic building for the athletes. I was really impressed by everything."

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver had a chance to meet the entire coaching staff and have sit downs with offensive coordinator Al Borges and coach Brady Hoke.

Bradshaw said that Borges talked a lot about the switch from the spread offense to the pro-style offense and how the Wolverines would be able to utilize a receiver like Bradshaw. He said he was very impressed with the entire coaching staff, specifically Hoke.

"I liked him a lot, he seemed really down to earth," Bradshaw said of Hoke. "We just had a casual conversation about the recruiting process."

The Wolverines have one wide receiver committed so far (Jaron Dukes) and are predicted to take three wide receivers in the 2013 class. Michigan has offered 14 receivers scholarships.

Bradshaw said he wasn’t planning on committing until after his senior season, but he said that if the Wolverines pick up a second commit soon and he feels that Michigan is the right place for him, that he would move his commitment up to be able to take that third spot.

"I don't know if they're my top school yet, but they’re really high up," Bradshaw said.

Bradshaw is taking a trip to Northwestern at the end of March and will narrow his choices to five after that. He said that at this point he "absolutely" believes Michigan will be in that top five.
