0.4 Another appeal for a caught behind and the on-field umpire remains unmoved, sends it upstairs. Gurbaz is already through his celebration. He tried plonk a pull on this shorter ball at middle and Aryansh looks uncertain. There's indeed a big under-edge and the ball was dying on Gurbaz, he lunged forward to grab and it's pretty similar situation for Paul Reiffel, hope he had his morning coffee. Third umpire has been put under pressure in the powerplay. It's conclusive on this occasion and the gloves seems to be properly underneath the ball. Aryansh is taking the long walk back to the pavilion. Second time lucky for Afghanistan and they draw first blood 0/1
1.6 Huge appeal for lbw and given! This is going to be a massive moment in the game. He has to review and he does! Let's see if he survives this lbw shout. Pitching outside off, impact is in line and just brushes the top of off-stump on the bails. The on-field decision stands and it's proving to be a perfect start for Afghanistan. Mujeeb gets the prized scalp! 13/2
11.2 Dances down the track and heaves it down the ground but hasn't got the requisite distance, taken by Ibrahim Zadran at long-off. The miscued shot brings an end to a wonderful partnership that has laid the platform for an imposing total. Bat just turned in his hand and he lost his shape while trying to pump it downtown, troubled by the spin, not quite under it 97/3
18.3 Well-directed bumper around the line off, gets on front-foot and tries to pummel it over backward square, taken by the fielder at square leg 152/7
14.2 That's a timely wicket for Afghanistan and what a terrific delivery to outfox Syed Haider! Squared him up with a Jaffa! Hits the hard length and the ball brushes the top of off, Haider admonishes himself, he stepped a little leg-side and the ball jagged away a bit as well. Played down the wrong line and has to go! 114/4
14.5 Pitched up and speared wide of off, he reaches out with full extension of his arms to cut and sounds like there might have been a nick, umpire agrees but he reviews straightaway. Paul, who has been very busy today, is waiting for the ultra-edge, clear spike and not sure why he reviewed it. The ball landed on the seam and curled away a touch, he has to go without troubling Ranjith - who is the scoring master of this game 114/5
15.3 That was too adventurous and needless! Erratic and frantic! Change of stance to attempt a reverse sweep and misses it completely, Rashid speared it full on middle and it hit him on the pads and then he hit stumps with his bat while going deep and moving towards middle, difficult to execute, needed some caution as there is still time left in this innings so not so sensible 121/6
19.4 Aimlessly running down the pitch oblivious to the situation. A pinpoints accurate yorker into his toes and he misses it, he was outside his crease and Gurbaz quickly pinged a sharp throw at the stumps, ball went off his pads and he thought he could sneak a run, not to be 157/8

19.6 Heat-seeking yorker on off, tight into the blockhole, digs it out to long-off and Junaid is short of his crease, throw was bang on target and Gurbaz with another stellar, neat piece of glovework 160/9

0.2 Huge wicket! What a start for the UAE! Gurbaz springs down the track and attempts to whack him over cover, ends up slicing it to Sohaib - you cannot keep him out of the game - lost his shape on the shot and Sohaib was perferctly stationed, came in from the rope and kept his eyes locked on the ball, this is a massive, massive wicket! That was a bit arrogant from Gurbaz, not taking into account the length and the angle, too much aggression 0/1
13.1 That is a massive moment in this game that could tip the scales in the favor of the UAE! Over the wicket, bangs it shortish and rolls his fingers on it, undone by the slowness of the delivery, never really arrives at him on the middle-stump line, pulls it in the air and Muhammad Waseem takes a screamer, charging in from the deep and taking a gem under-pressure. I've a feeling this is going right till the end 97/4
5.3 Soft dismissal! Vital breakthrough for UAE! Back of a length with some sideways movement, width was there and he wanted to swat that away, gave a simple and a straightforward catch to Harshit at point! His eyes lit up as he got width to work with, will be gutted to throw his wicket away after spending some time in the middle 40/2
9.5 Produces magic again! Slower length ball jagging back and completely taking him by a surprise, what a trick up his sleeve, that came back sharply and he wasn't able to jam his bat down in the nick of time, stumps askew and he has to go. UAE making inroads and have an upper-hand on the game 70/3
17.3 Knocked him over! Middle-stump sent packing as the stump gets uprooted! Beautiful sight if you love fast bowling! On a length and jags back viciously beating his ambitious heave into the leg-side, didn't account for the tail back, excellent delivery! 140/5
