Week 10 is set to be a blockbuster slate in college football, and the uniforms are matching the occasion.

From alternate threads to unique helmets, plenty of teams are doing their part to ensure that the uniform options this week are as diverse as ever. One of those teams is Tennessee, which will break out its "dark mode" look for a big game against Kentucky on Saturday.

Halloween was last week, but you wouldn't know it based on the Volunteers' uniforms. A black background will be accented by Tennessee's classic orange, creating a very spooky -- and aesthetically excellent -- look.

The Vols aren't the only team bringing it with their uniforms this week. Here are the top threads from around college football.

SMU

Similar to Tennessee, SMU is also following an all-black theme. The Mustangs' threads are contrasted by the bright blue color sported by the numbers, accents and jersey wordmark, and the helmet keeps a similar color scheme. The lids also feature an alternate emblem, with the team's usual mustang logo surrounded by a "D" in tribute to SMU's home city of Dallas.

Nevada

Nevada stayed on theme with black threads as well, though with a twist. Instead of matching black jersey and black pants with a similar helmet, the Wolfpack switched things up -- opting for a matte silver lid with a white stripe down the middle, completing a sleek asymmetric look.

TCU

The best uniform reveal of the week might very well belong to TCU, which went with a space theme for the unveiling of its Friday night uniforms. As for the threads themselves, the Horned Frogs aren't disappointing either, matching the school's classic purple color on the jersey with a shiny black helmet.

Illinois

Illinois' jersey and pants combination is a standard blue, white and orange look, but the Fighting Illini's helmet really catches the eye. It's a throwback-style lid, with the team opting for an old-school script "Illini" wordmark as the primary side logo, as opposed to the traditional "Block I" emblem.

Eastern Michigan

Alternate helmets were in vogue this week. Eastern Michigan brought out a distinctive lid for its Wednesday night clash with Central Michigan. The Eagles have emphasized a blue-collar identity under coach Chris Creighton and included a nod to that ethos on their helmets. The "E" logo and stripe on Eastern Michigan's green lids were colored in with a metallic steel pattern.
