AUCKLAND, New Zealand -- Slovakia's Dominik Hrbaty won his
second straight ATP Tour title Saturday, beating 17-year-old Rafael
Nadal of Spain 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 in the Heineken Open.
Hrbaty, the winner of the AAPT Championships last week in
Adelaide, has six career titles. He also won in Auckland in 2001,
and finished second in the event last year.
"I was very tired," Hrbaty said. "In the first set I didn't
think I could do it because I was feeling so tired after Adelaide
and he was making me run around so much. There was just a special
moment in the match when I told myself I had to win."
