Team News
Arsenal
Arsenal fans will be eager to see their newest signing Bruno Guimarães in action. He was welcomed on to the Emirates Stadium pitch before Arsenal's match against Dortmund and he's likely to be seen in the club's colours for the first time during their match against Como.
The 28-year-old Guimarães, who arrived from Newcastle, might not start against Como but will be keen to get some minutes at some point. "I'm delighted to have him. We see very clearly, especially the energy that he brought immediately to the training ground, the hunger, the desire to come here and create a big history at the club. That's the ambition that we need," Arteta said.
Another new signing Christos Tzolis was impressive against Dortmund and Arteta will look to get him more minutes against Como.
Captain Martin Odegaard, England midfielders Declan Rice and Eberechi Eze as well as Martín Zubimendi and Mikel Merino, who won the FIFA World Cup with Spain, are all yet to join the squad.
Meanwhile, defender Jurriën Timber is working on his fitness after sustaining groin injury while William Saliba will be long-term absentee as he recovers from a back injury.
Como
Como have signed defender Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea. The 27-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the club, who secured Champions League qualification by finishing fourth in Serie A last season.
Fabregas will hope Chalobah will get a few minutes against Arsenal, a team he knows well due to his Premier League experience. "Trevoh is an important signing for us and a player who represents the level of ambition we have at this club," said Fabregas. "He is a leader who can raise the level of the team, and I am very happy that he has chosen Como."
