Team News:

Chelsea

Chelsea have been busy in the transfer market and as they finish their preseason friendlies with a match against Real Sociedad, the main talking point has been the future Enzo Fernández. Reports have emerged that the club has set a Friday deadline for offers of £120 million or more for those who are interested in Fernandez.

There has been uncertainty about the midfielder's future at Chelsea with Real Madrid and Manchester City interested in signing him. Real Madrid have come out and said they have no intention of signing him now while it remains to be seen if City will be willing to pay the amount.

Fernandez rejoined Chelsea this week after the World Cup break and it's not clear whether he will feature against Real Sociedad.

Meanwhile, new signing Pep Chavarría could see a few minutes against Sociedad. The 28-year-old left back who came in from Rayo Vallecano became the ninth new addition to Chelsea this summer. He's the replacement for Marc Cucurella who left the club for Real Madrid.

Also, the club's record signing Morgan Rogers at Cobham for the first time since his move from Aston Villa. Rogers joined the squad along with Jordan Henderson, Maxence Lacroix and Valentín Barco.

Real Sociedad

Winger Gonçalo Guedes, one of the breakout signings last year, will not be in action at Stamford Bridge as he underwent a non-football related operation. He hasn't played in any of the preseason friendlies and will be hoping to be fit when LaLiga resumes with a new season.

Meanwhile, Takefusa Kubo, who was in action for the first time in preseason against FC Cologne, will continue to make progress after recovering from a knee injury.
