After two weeks of stellar play, Josh Allen has taken control of the NFL MVP odds board, leading the way at +280 after coming into the campaign with +600 favorite odds. The 2024 MVP has taken some action at DraftKings, but his short price the entire time is likely not making him a liability at most sportsbooks across the marketplace.
Lamar Jackson maintained his place in second on the odds board at +750, aided by some midweek movement from +850. He's tied in that position with Brock Purdy, who was one of the biggest movers week over week from 13-1, along with Patrick Mahomes (15-1 to +850). Mahomes is also the odds-on favorite for Comeback Player of the Year at -240.
Arguably the biggest shake-up to the MVP odds board came due to several key injuries: Caleb Williams (+600 going into Week 2), Jaxson Dart (35-1) and Jayden Daniels (45-1) all left their games injured, with Dart's and Daniels' injuries serious enough to keep them off the board.
Williams' injury, on the other hand, is apparently not as severe as originally feared, so he has reappeared on the odds board at 30-1. The 2024 No. 1 overall draft pick has racked up significant liability at several sportsbooks, including BetMGM, which lists him as its largest caution.
Also of note, Bijan Robinson moved from 16-1 to +850 to win Offensive Player of the Year after his stellar performance Thursday night. Robinson sits third on the board behind Jahmyr Gibbs (+600) and Kenneth Walker III (+800).
