It's become something of a tradition in recent years for Barcelona to change up their kits when they face Real Madrid in El Clásico.
As part of their massive sponsorship deal with Spotify, Barça have been sporting the trademark logos of some of the biggest music acts when they face their bitter rivals in LaLiga matches. This began in 2022, when Drake became the first international star to have his own emblem replace the standard Spotify logo on the front of the Catalan club's jersey.
With the first Clásico of the 2026-27 season almost upon us, Barça have revealed the identity of the latest big-named act who will be gracing their jerseys for the fixture with the honor going to eclectic rapper and fashionista Tyler, The Creator.
The multiple Grammy-winning hip-hop star therefore becomes the ninth musical act to have its logo worn by Barça during El Clásico in the space of the past five years. He joins an exclusive club of acts to be given the honor, including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Olivia Rodrigo -- all of whom have seen their custom marques added to special-edition kits in lieu of a traditional front-of-shirt sponsor.

2022-23
DRAKE, Oct. 16, 2022 (Real Madrid 3-1 Barcelona)
Less than a year into Barça's ongoing deal with Spotify, with the club's Camp Nou stadium also bearing the name of the streaming giant, Drake became the first musician to have his logo adorn the hallowed red-and-blue striped jersey when the Canadian rapper's "OVO" owl label was on display during a disappointing defeat at the Bernabéu in the first Clásico of the season.
ROSALÍA, March 19, 2023 (Barcelona 2-1 Real Madrid)
Catalonia-born pop star Rosalía proved to be a much brighter omen for Barça, who won the reverse fixture at Camp Nou while wearing the logo for her "Motomami" album across their shirts.
2023-24
THE ROLLING STONES, Oct. 28, 2023 (Barcelona 1-2 Real Madrid)
The Stones marked the release of their first album in 18 years, "Hackney Diamonds," by slapping their iconic lips and tongue logo to the Barcelona shirt. Lamine Yamal made his Clásico debut (played at the city's Olympic stadium as renovations at Camp Nou began) but unfortunately the home side fell to defeat via two second-half goals from Jude Bellingham.
KAROL G, April 21, 2024 (Real Madrid 3-2 Barcelona)
Barça narrowly lost out to another late Bellingham strike, this time at the Bernabéu, while wearing bespoke shirts with the signature barbed-wire heart logo of Colombian singer and songwriter Karol G on the front.
2024-25
COLDPLAY, Oct. 26, 2024 (Real Madrid 0-4 Barcelona)
While perhaps not instantly recognizable, Coldplay's lunar-themed logo for their "Moon Music" album was positioned front and center as a flurry of goals from Robert Lewandowski, Yamal and Raphina saw Barça canter to a comprehensive 4-0 victory over their eternal foes at the Bernabéu in the first Clásico game of the 2024-25 campaign.
TRAVIS SCOTT, May 11, 2025 (Barcelona 4-3 Real Madrid)
With Scott's trademark "Cactus Jack" logo (a reference to the rap mogul's real first name, Jacques) on their shirts, Barça then held out to secure a league double over Madrid as the home side managed to emerge victorious in the return fixture despite Kylian Mbappé weighing in with a hat trick for Los Blancos.
2025-26
ED SHEERAN, Oct 26, 2025 (Real Madrid 2-1 Barcelona)
Barcelona sported the artwork for Sheeran's eight studio album, "Play," on their jerseys for the inaugural Clásico of the 2025-26 season, only to lose to Madrid at the Bernabéu after managing to beat their rivals in all four games (across all competitions) between the two sides the previous season.
OLIVIA RODRIGO, May 10, 2026 (Barcelona 2-0 Real Madrid)
Barcelona got back on track at the tail end of the 2025-26 season when Rodrigo's "OR" butterfly logo helped inspire them to a rousing 2-0 victory that saw Hansi Flick's side clinch the LaLiga title at Camp Nou. She even got to have a prematch meeting with Barça star Yamal, who missed the game through injury.
2026-27
TYLER, THE CREATOR, Oct. 25, 2026
The special shirt will see Barça's existing blaugrana-striped home shirt adorned with the logo of Tyler, The Creator's streetwear label, "Golf Wang," when they welcome Real Madrid to Camp Nou on Oct. 25.
However, he has also been allowed to take creative control in order to design an array of quirky apparel -- including a letterman jacket, a leopard print retro Barça shirt, a fleece and a beanie hat -- to fully flesh out the range.
