How many golfers have won all four majors? Henry Bridges
This is a pretty short list: only five men have won all four of golf's majors and complete a career Grand Slam.
The first to win them all was Gene Sarazen, whose seventh and last major victory came in the second Masters tournament in 1935.
He was followed by Ben Hogan, who completed his set with the Open Championship in 1953 - the only time he took part in it.
Gary Player completed his set with the US Open in 1965; at the time he had won all four majors once each, although he would collect five more.
His great contemporary Jack Nicklaus completed his own set the following year, winning the 1966 Open at Muirfield.
And it was the same tournament which completed Tiger Woods' full set, in 2000. He was, at 24, the youngest to have won all four.
Current golfers who have won three of the four majors are Phil Mickelson, who is lacking the US Open, and Rory McIlroy, who is a Masters win away from his Slam.
