Although South Florida's season came to a disappointing end, the first day of the offseason has given the Bulls new reason to have high hopes about the future.

Winter Park three-star wide receiver D'Vario Montgomery committed to South Florida choosing the Bulls over offers from UCF, Louisville, South Carolina, Wake Forest, Memphis and several others.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder has been on the Bulls' radar for well over a year, receiving his first official offer from South Florida during the Sling & Shoot 7-on-7 event in the summer of 2010.

He will play in the Offense-Defense game on Dec. 29.
