Kamindu Mendis was the lone spark for the Kaps, looking in total control as he rotated the strike and found the boundaries with ease to bring up his fifty off 34 balls. Having made five changes to their lineup today, the Kaps looked sloppy; their batting unit failed to gel and their earlier lapses in the field ultimately came back to haunt them.
