Want to watch John Wall destroy Julius Hodge in a pro-am? Of course you do.
From Eye-on-Basketball, Kevin Love talking about the Wolves' coaching situation, opportunities of playing overseas, and the lockout. "For the fans, with both the NFL and the NBA, not only do they want to see the games on Sundays and Thursday nights for football, but they want to see us. And we know they don't want to see billionaire owners and millionaire players bickering over money."
It has to be just a matter of time before an NBA team hires Sebastian Pruiti. He continues his tireless stream of great posts by breaking down Jonas Valanciunas' game on NBA Playbook.

Speaking of SI, Zach Lowe broke down who could be interested in signing Jason Richardson whenever this lockout ends. My favorite of the possible destinations (assuming it's a good price for them): "Chicago: This is a team we’ll hear associated with every free-agent shooting guard, and with good reason. The Bulls need more scoring and spacing than Keith Bogans can provide by standing in the corner. Think about how much more efficiently they scored with Kyle Korver at two-guard spot, running around screens and creating openings for others. Richardson can duplicate those skills and is a better defender than Korver. He’d be a better fit in a lot of ways than Jamal Crawford or J.R. Smith, two other prominent free-agent two-guards, since those guys both have shot-selection issues and often dominate the ball."
Nick Flynt of Clipperblog explains why building a team is hard.
Great video from Mike Schmitz at Valley of the Suns on what Jared Dudley needs to do to improve this offseason.
Really great breakdown of the Lakers new assistant coach Ettore Messina from Forum Blue & Gold. They had foreign correspondent Xavier Sánchez break down the impact and meaning.
More Yao Ming appreciation, this time on Ed the Sports Fan by THN writer Phillip Barnett. "I can truly say that it was an honor watching a healthy Yao play. I’ve always had love for the center position, and Yao was one of the more skilled guys to ever play in the five spot. It’s sad to see his career end after only eight years, but I’m happy to see that he’ll be able to go on with his life. Here’s to a career worth remembering. I’ll miss you, Yao."
Andrew McNeill from 48 Minutes of Hell is wondering if Da'Sean Butler can come back from his bad knee injury and provide some depth for the Spurs.
Not really basketball or sports related but this was a really interesting read on metaphors.
