England take on Ukraine in a crunch qualifier for the 2027 World Cup, and you can follow all the updates from the Hill Dickinson Stadium live on ESPN.
The Lionesses' hopes of direct qualification hang in the balance following their drubbing to Spain last week.
To avoid the playoffs route, they need to beat Ukraine and hope that Spain drop points against lowly Iceland.
Sarina Wiegman's side began their qualification campaign against Ukraine with a 6-1 win. Alessia Russo, Georgia Stanway and Jess Park each grabbed braces in Antalya.
They followed it up with three straight wins, two of them against Iceland and one over Spain at Wembley. However, the Spaniards bounced back in style in the return fixture with Alexia Putellas scoring twice in a dominant 4-0 win.
It was their heaviest defeat in 17 years and saw them pipped to top spot in the qualification table by Spain due to their head-to-head-record.
"These are the hardest moments. We have to recover from this and show we are still a very good team," Wiegman said in her news conference post match.
On Wednesday in Liverpool, they need a swift return to their best. Even then, that might not be enough.
