AFC West injury update

The Chargers appear to be close to full strength heading into their game at Oakland on Sunday. However, the Raiders are not close to being at full strength.

In San Diego, all of the Chargers players who missed practice Wednesday, running back LaDainian Tomlinson and tight end Antonio Gates, were back to practicing fully Thursday. Center Nick Hardwick, who is attempting to play for the first time Sunday, also practiced fully.

However, in Oakland, cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, guard Cooper Carlisle, running back Justin Fargas and defensive tackle Gerard Warren were among those not practicing. Fargas, Carlisle and Warren likely won't play against the Chargers and Asomugha's status is still up in the air.

Meanwhile, running back Darren McFadden is still being hampered by a turf toe and he may not be at full strength for some time. These injuries could seriously hinder Oakland's chances of pulling off an upset over the Chargers.

Meanwhile, in Denver, Broncos' defensive tackle DeWayne Robertson practiced fully today. He didn't practice Wednesday. Robertson has a lingering knee injury and he occasionally rests as was the case Wednesday.
