The Buffalo Bills' neighbors to the north have passed the baton south.
With the Toronto Blue Jays clinching a playoff spot Friday night -- it came without much fanfare, as few noticed until Saturday morning -- the Bills now hold the longest playoff drought among the four major North American sports.
The Bills have not appeared in the playoffs since 1999, which has been the longest-running NFL postseason drought for the past several years.
The Jays' previous playoff appearance was in 1993.
