DeSean Jackson up, Jamison Crowder down in Redskins' win

LANDOVER, Md. -- A look at the Washington Redskins players who were "up" and those who were "down" in Sunday's 35-25 win against the Buffalo Bills.

UP

WR DeSean Jackson: Before the game, one member of the organization mentioned what a good week Jackson had. Then he went out and caught six passes for 153 yards and a touchdown. With each week he’s become more like his old self. He now has seven catches of 25 yards or longer in the last five games. Say what you want about him, the man scares defenses and makes big plays.

QB Kirk Cousins: Anyone tired of the "You Like That" phrase? Get used to it because the fans were chanting it Sunday with good reason. But, in truth, they loved what Cousins did Sunday: 22-of-28 for 319 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions. He has thrown three interceptions in the last eight games. Three. People don’t have to think he’s the best out there, but he deserves a lot of credit for what he has accomplished thus far.

DL Kedric Golston: I really don’t know how well he played the rest of the game, but the man knows how to handle short-yardage situations. He consistently drives the center back at the goal-line, freeing up others to make big stops and that’s what he did in the second quarter Sunday. It was a pivotal sequence that the Redskins handled in part because of Golston.

DOWN

PR Jamison Crowder: He was mostly quiet on offense, but he made one big gaffe in the return game, muffing a punt that would have given Washington possession inside the Buffalo 40-yard line. The Redskins led 21-0 at the time and could have put the game away in the first half. But Crowder was bailed out when the defense made a goal-line stand.
