PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Ravens cornerbacks Samari Rolle and Chris McAlister and tight end Todd Heap were inactive Monday night for Baltimore's key AFC North game against Pittsburgh.
McAlister (knee) was listed as doubtful following the Ravens' final pregame practice, while Rolle (illness) and Heap (thigh) were questionable.
Several of the Ravens' previously injured players returned, including quarterback Steve McNair (groin, back) and defensive tackle Trevor Pryce, but they were without both starting cornerbacks. Derrick Martin started for McAlister and Corey Ivy replaced Rolle.
The Steelers were without safety Ryan Clark (spleen), who hasn't played since a 31-28 loss to Denver on Oct. 21. Defensive end Aaron Smith sat out for the second week in a row with a knee ligament injury.

Scouting Report
Both teams will rely on the run in this AFC North matchup
The Ravens are coming off a bye week and have had two weeks to prepare for an opponent that they already know very well. Pittsburgh had a nice win last week versus a fading Cincinnati team and they did it in typical Steelers fashion, which is a clock-eating run game and an efficient passing game with big plays off of play-action. For the most part you get what you get each week from Pittsburgh, but the Ravens' offense has been a big disappointment conservative, with no big play or vertical element. However, if you like hard-hitting defense this is your game. Both teams have elite units and both will blitz and attack from every direction. This is a very important division game and it promises to be one of the most physical contests of the year.
