For the first time all season, a team besides the Los Angeles Dodgers is favored to win the World Series, as the Milwaukee Brewers are now +175 for the title and the Dodgers are +180. It's the first time Milwaukee has been the World Series favorite since the 2011 National League Championship Series, according to ESPN Research.
The Brewers' Game 1 victory in the 2026 NLCS propelled them to the top of the championship odds board, as well as into favorite status for the series at -130, with the Dodgers still posing a threat at +110.
Either Milwaukee or Los Angeles would likely be favored in the World Series against whichever team comes out of the American League. Ahead of the ALCS, the Tampa Bay Rays show +330 odds to win it all, while the Cleveland Guardians come in at +650. The Rays are -169 favorite to win Game 1 and -165 to win the series over the Guardians.
