Rams almost could not script better start

The St. Louis Rams' defense swarmed the Philadelphia Eagles' offense on the first possession of the game Sunday.

Then, when the Rams had the ball, Steven Jackson broke through the Eagles' defense untouched and ran for a touchdown.

Only a long, clock-eating drive for a touchdown would have been better for the Rams. But they couldn't have envisioned a better start to this game, realistically.
