Rays bounce back and win Game 2 over Guardians 3-1 (1:06)

The 2026 MLB playoffs are in full swing!

The 12-team postseason began with an action-packed wild-card round that featured eight teams battling for four spots to advance to the eight-team division series.

The Chicago White Sox became the first team to win a series this postseason with a wild-card round sweep of the Houston Astros. Then the New York Yankees swept the Boston Red Sox in two routs, recording the highest series run differential in the history of the current wild-card format. The San Diego Padres also sealed their spot in the NLDS with a sweep of the Chicago Cubs. In the only wild-card series to go the distance, the Atlanta Braves held off the Philadelphia Phillies to move on.

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Braves to nab the first spot in the championship series, where they are facing the Milwaukee Brewers after they beat the Padres.

The Tampa Bay Rays swept the Yankees to clinch the first spot in the ALCS and face the Cleveland Guardians, who mounted a stunning comeback against the White Sox after dropping the first two games of the ALDS.

From the first pitch of the wild-card games to the last out of the World Series, we've got you covered with the postseason bracket, schedules, results and how to watch every game this October.
